DMX was an American performer, songwriter, and actor who first began to rap in the early 1990s and made his debut album Dark and Hell Is Hot on May 19 1998. Over the years he released several other albums including ... And Then There Was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... And Again the Redemption of the Beast Grand Champ and Flesh of My Blood Flesh. The album was released in 2001. entitled... And then There was X earned him the Grammy nomination in the category of Best Rap Album.
