Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for many years. The actor is best known for the roles he was in "Law and Ordinance Special Victims Unit". He discovered his love for acting in his early days at college and studied acting at The University of Colorado at Boulder. He's appeared in TV and films, however it was his small-screen characters that brought him fame and an extensive following. His ability to portray characters on both sides of law is what has caught the attention of audiences. The first show he worked on was a television serial, however, he was later a detective for the NYPD. For his work in the small screen, he's been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. One of his most striking facial features is thought to be his piercing blue eyes that are regarded to be a trademark and have aided in depicting tough characters that have charisma. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
