Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his role in the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. The first time he became interested in acting was in his early college days. He was a student of acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he was active in film and TV but his performances on small screens are what brought him much fame. He has the ability to portray two characters, one from the perspective of the police and the different. This is what is what makes him so famous. The first show he worked on was a television show, but he later played a detective for the NYPD. Because of his appearances on smaller screens, he has received multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. The most striking of his facial traits is believed to have been the piercing blue eye that has helped him portray characters who are rough and charismatic. The People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured his face.
